    The birds building the house is a great idea for a whirligig! I don't suppose you know of any video of this in action? or there are any pictures of the mechanism. Thank you

    Thanks for sharing Dug. The piece went for $1100.(a bargain), though I don't know who got it.
    And sadly there is no video for this. And no pics of the mechanism, thought, as I remember it was very simple and straightforward. One shaft bend to form a crankshaft.
