The world's biggest cuckoo clock in Triberg, Germany
The World Biggest Cuckoo Clock is located in its own house in Triberg, Germany. The construction of the clock was based on 100 year old cuckoo clock, but at a scale of 60 to 1! The cuckoo bird itself measures nearly 14 feet long, and weights an incredible 330 pounds.
Here is a short presentation about the clock and its construction presented by an animatronic clock-seller:
Here is a video of the cuckoo emerging. Clearly the bird isn't entirely traditional and possesses its own animatronic components. As grand as this is, I would have preferred a simple, traditional cuckoo bird.
Here is where you can learn more about the world's biggest cuckoo clock.

Calling the Ebel clock the world's largest cuckoo clock is like saying that Elizabeth Tower with Big Ben is the world's largest grandfather clock. It is very awesome to see and Educational to the appearance of the inner workings of a cuckoo clock, but it is in fact a building with a large replica of the workings of a cuckoo clock. The movement operates similar, but not the same as the movement it replicates. Due to the weight of its components and engineering, it has to slip in places it shouldn't to bleed off inertia. The bellows do not make the sound you hear during the cuckoo process. The pendulum you see outside is faux.
The cuckoo clock in Guinness book as the world's larges is no more than a road side attraction made up of local gadgets and nothing authentic to a cuckoo clock. The only thing it has going for it is that when Guinness took their money to put it in the book, they didn't really do their homework to determine if this was a fact or hearsay. The world's Largest Cuckoo clock is in fact a genuine black forest cuckoo clock. Made in Germany, With a Genuine Cuckoo Movement, hand carved of black forest fur. This is a clock that hangs on a wall and can be moved by lifting it off its hanger and hooked on another. A Real Cuckoo clock. This clock can be seen at Champ's Clock Shop in Douglasville, Georgia USA. Credit for the world's Largest accurately operating replica cuckoo clock workings and real functioning bellows goes to the Dold clock of Schonach.
