Singing bird in a cage toy by Schylling
Schylling, makers of wonderful reproduction toys, offers this simple but affordable singing bird toy. While I haven't seen it in person, the reviews on Amazon suggest it is well worth the $15.
Hi Dug, I own this bird cage, a fine chinese bamboocage with a real twittering machine composed of a pipe with a piston and a rubber bellow as a air pump driven by a cam with a lever. Wind-up-toy. I know only these toy with a cheap twittering machine (except the very expensive machines from Switzerland with a highest sound quality) Falk Keuten, Bonn, Germany

Looks like that would be a quaint little addition to one's home. I like the simple, yet elegant colors.
