Here's a great weekend project brought to us by the good folks at MAKE magazine. This video shows how to build an ornithopter -- also powered by a rubber band.

ReplyDeleteThese ornithopers can fly, but as Kip mentioned in the video, they are very light so it must be flown on a day with no wind.
Page 99 of MAKE Volume 8 has a troubleshooting guide for this project.
