While less robust than full-fledged CNC router table, the price of this machine is so much less, it is in a class of its own. I won't go into the technical details of this automatic wood carving machine here...they are too numerous.
Just consider this for a moment: automata building more automata. Wow.
Check out the CarveWright Woodworking System.
I bought a Carvewright with the initial idea of making signs and some components for fine cabinetry. Since that time I stumbled upon a couple of books that introduced me to automata and I'm very excited about using my machine to build some automata and mechanical toys. I think you have something here!!
ReplyDeleteMatt,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think so. Keep me posted on how it goes. I don't know anyone with a CarveWright and I would love to hear more first-hand information.
All the Best,
Dug North
My advise Don't buy a CarveWight or Compucarve. $2000 piece of junk. Hate to burst your bubble. Mine was burst real quick.
